BRAKE PADS

Brake Pads are manufactured to FAI PRO specifications ensuring a top-quality product. Manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility and using the finest raw materials and processes the Pads give unrivalled performance and durability.

A copper free friction material is used, which is less corrosive on the Brake Disc and more environmentally friendly.

Double rubber shims are used across the range engineered to further reduce noise and vibration and giving a smoother “feel” to braking.

Pads are chamfered and slotted to match the OE design giving more reductions in noise and vibration and also assisting with the bedding in process.

Where applicable the Pads are supplied with accessories in line with the OE offering – wear leads, wear sensors, bolts and caliper clips – this helps to speed up the fitment.

Each Pad has ECE R-90 certification, where necessary, underlining the quality of the range which is a safety critical product.

BRAKE DISCS

FAI Pro Brake Discs are manufactured to strict bespoke specifications and tolerances guaranteeing consistent quality parts.

All Discs in the range are supplied COATED using a zinc / aluminium water based coating which is designed to also improve efficiency by heat dissipation, and allows fitment straight from the box with no cleaning required.

Every part of the Disc has the coating, this prevents rusting around the veins occurring.

There is no compromise on the carbon content or any weight reduction so compares with the OE equivalent.

Every Disc is 100% tested for run out, DTV(Disc Thickness Variation) and balancing before being approved for sign off.

WHEEL CYLINDERS

Wheel Cylinders have a vital role in the braking operation, exerting pressure on the Brake Shoes to slow / stop the vehicle – as such, fitting quality parts is essential for such safety critical items, performance and safety could be compromised.

FAI PRO Wheel Cylinders are manufactured to the highest standards using top quality materials and manufacturing processes and subject to intensive testing.

High grade Cast iron & Aluminium castings and Pistons have anodized coatings giving a greater resistance to corrosion, abrasion and wear, improving performance and durability.

OE specification seals and dust plugs are used giving extra protection to the pistons from dirt and water and help to prevent leaks occurring.

Rubber seals are made of EPDM offering high resistance to exposure from the environment, chemicals and ageing, and every cylinder is 100% end-of-line tested ensuring every product conforms to OE quality standards.

FAI PRO quality means Wheel Cylinders can be installed, guaranteeing reliable and durable and consistent braking performance.

BRAKE HOSES

Brake Hoses deliver brake fluid to the Brake Calipers and Wheel Cylinders allowing the brakes to perform when slowing / stopping a vehicle. Using inferior Hoses can reduce stopping power or cause a total brake failure.

FAI PRO Brake Hoses use EPDM rubber which has a high resistance to environmental exposure and provides strength and durability, and all have zinc coated anti corrosive end fittings.

Any imperfections with a Brake Hose can weaken the Hose affecting its ability to withstand pressure and increasing the chance of leaks, hence all FAI Pro Brake Hoses are tested to SAEJ401 standards undergoing extensive leak, burst, tensile strength & volumetric expansion tests.

STEERING AND SUSPENSION

The FAI Pro Steering & Suspension range consists of all major product types, Suspension Arms, Ball Joints, Stabiliser Links, Tie Rod and Rack ends as well as bushes and mountings, all manufactured to exacting OE equivalent specifications, in ISO TS16949 certified factories, capable of producing millions of pieces a year.

All parts are designed using the latest CAD / CAM technology and manufactured using high quality steel and aluminium.  The latest processes include robotic welding, quality-controlled bush assembly and automated cataphoresis coating, providing excellent corrosion resistance.  All parts are finally fully tested for lifetime performance / fatigue.

CV JOINTS AND DRIVESHAFTS

FAI Pro offer an extensive range of premium quality, 100% NEW CV Joints and Driveshafts.

All parts are manufactured using premium quality materials, which are precision machined and balanced to ensure a smooth, vibration-free drive.

All Driveshafts are fitted with CNC forged CV Joints, manufactured to exacting specifications, exacting dimensions tolerances between the steel ball and seating groove, allow low friction, noise and damage, providing increased durability and longevity of service.

FAI Pro CV Joints come complete with the boot, steel clips, grease, and fittings as required, and are pre lubricated with specific high-temperature moly grease to protect against wear, ready to fit, straight from the box.

COIL SPRINGS AND SHOCK ABSORBERS

Designed in conjunction with the Shock Absorber / Suspension system Coil Springs support the vehicle weight and absorb road noise and impact – The FAI Pro Coil Spring range is manufactured using the latest high grade spring steel, in fully accredited manufacturing facilities, offer OE matching quality, from a trusted supplier.  With all designs available, 100% fatigue and salt spray tested for excellent corrosion resistance.

Offered alongside is the full range of FAI Pro Shock Absorbers, with both telescopic and strut designs, specifically manufactured with multiple valve technology, to compensate for any wear and tear in the vehicle steering and suspension system as well as any road defects, ensuring consistent handling and performance.

Often vehicle owners do not notice the gradual deterioration of the shock absorber performance, so they should be checked as part of an annual vehicle maintenance routine and if defective replaced in pairs.

WHEEL BEARINGS

FAI Pro provide a quality range over 100 Wheel Bearings and Hub Units, covering the most popular UK and European applications.  All manufactured to stringent OE equivalent specifications and supplied complete with fittings and high quality grease where required.

Given that Wheel Hubs and Bearings now capture speed data from the wheel and transmit it to the vehicle ECU, to control such functions as ABS, ESP and Hill Starts, it is imperative that a quality bearing supplier is used.

FAI Pro offer Generation 1, 2 and 3 Wheel Bearings, including the latest twin flange, pre-loaded designs, all fully applicated.

CABLES

The extensive FAI Pro range of cables consists of over 600 references in total including all popular Brake, Clutch and Gear Control references, giving excellent vehicle parc coverage, all fully catalogued with detailed application listings.

Manufactured in ISO certified facilities, FAI Pro Cables are designed and manufactured to OE specification, with each individual reference being fully tested against the original design for matching quality, efficiency and durability before entering full batch production.

Each and every component of the cable is developed using in house CAD systems and carefully assembled and pre-lubricated before being put through a rigorous set of tests to confirm push / pull capacity and break loads, that match or exceed original requirements, providing a cable that operates smoothly and consistently.

BRAKE CALIPERS

All FAI Pro Brake Calipers are 100% NEW units, manufactured to OE specification, not only guaranteeing consistent braking performance and feel, but being new units, they avoid the need for messy, inconvenient and sometimes costly old core / surcharge procedures.

All units are manufactured in ISO TS16949 certified factories,  and high and low pressure tested, zinc coated to prevent corrosion and fully adjusted ready to fit from the box.
